Christian Arnold is a world renowned flame working artist. After spending years apprenticed to his father Rainer learning the exacting discipline of scientific glass blowing, he broke free to explore his creative side. Earning a Masters Degree in Glass at RMIT, he quickly carved a niche for himself within the rarified world of master flameworkers. Working collaboratively and individually they are nine times finalists in the Ranamok Australasian Prize for Contemporary Glass, as well as first place winner in the international professional category for Flow Magazine, and third place international marble competition. He was invited to teach in Anatolia and at the Glass Furnace in Istanbul and has taught master classes in Canberra and Sydney.
